Jeffrey and I spent this past weekend outdoors which was refreshing. I like this photo he took as it reminds me of how small I really am.
On Saturday, we went to Smith Mountain Lake which I’ve never been to before and we roamed among the trees, lounged on the fake beach and stuck our feet in the water. The water was freezing. But oh so inviting.
Temperatures were in the low 80′s which was lovely but surprising since we had snow the weekend before. We picnicked and frisbee-ed on Sunday. It was good while it lasted.

Stephanie: It was a nikkor zoom lens 18-50mm zoom @ 18mm. Same lens that was actually used to take the first photo of him walking in the sand. And yeah…it’s supposed to get colder toward the end of the week here :(
