Life in bloom

Meet Riley and the Fam

Riley is the most beautiful, adorable, cutest two-year-old I was ever related to. For serious, this child melts my heart with her smile, voice and bangs that just almost cover her eyes. I could metaphorically squeeze her to itty bitty pieces.

I had a great time seeing my family this past weekend … I’ve missed them lots and lots. Hope you had a great Easter weekend too and are enjoying the warm spring weather!

I made a new friend today

I don’t know her name but I do know that she’s half Alaskan Malamute, half Australian Shepherd and 100% adorable. She’s only 8 months old and is the sweetest puppy who followed us around as I was taking photos of the aftermath of a fire. She cried as the reporter and I were leaving and chased the truck up the very long driveway (3/10 of a mile to be exact) as we left. We had to stop a few times to tell her to go home :( I want a puppy so much but I know it’s a huge responsibility that we probably don’t need right now. But they’re so cute! And cuddly! And loyal! With unconditional love! Le sigh.

I know I’ve been quiet on the blog front lately and hopefully I can find some time to write about that soon. Just kind of tired of the internet and been in one of those funks. Here’s to breaking out of that!
